04Do I need to be a member to attend an event?

No. Public events are open to everyone: open the event, choose Register for This Event, and you are done in a minute, with no account and no approval. The price is shown before you start, free events need no card, and an event ticket covers that event only. It does not include a membership. Member-only gatherings are listed inside the member portal.
